The desire to
be creative has been present all my life. By the age of 10 I was sewing doll
clothes on a treadle machine and winning honors in 4-H. I was hooked! I took
Home Economics in high school and college to increase my sewing knowledge.
My creative talents were unleashed when I majored in Art at Cumberland
College. Always creative, my skills soared during my teaching years while
designing activities for my students.
After I
became a mother of four I found myself designing crafts, creating home
items, and clothing for my family and friends. Now that I am a grandmother
and retired from teaching, I have devoted myself to being a full time
artisan in the sewing field.
I now look
forward to sharing my talents with my customers by helping them create
their
warm home with my creations as I did for my family! |
